High Availability

Some of our Netgate customers may be seeking to purchase our security gateways with the intention of configuring them as high availability (HA) pairs. This is done in our new store a little differently than our previous store.

Below we will provide you with two instruction sets as to how a customer would purchase their desired high availability pairs for our 1U rack systems.

Netgate 1537 or Netgate 1541:

The Netgate 1537 and Netgate 1541 can be configured in an HA pair by following these steps: 

1. Visit the Netgate 1537 or Netgate 1541 product pages
2. Select your desired  “Base” or “Max” model
3. Choose your various “Expansion Card” and “Software Support” options
   
4. Choose Extend product protection plan if desired
5. After making your dropdown selections you will need to change your quantity to “2”
6. Add them to your cart
7. Proceed to checkout

Netgate 8200 or Netgate 6100 or Netgate 4200:

The Netgate 8200, Netgate 6100, Netgate 4200 can be configured in an HA pair by following these steps:

1. Visit the Netgate 8200, Netgate 6100, or Netgate 4200 product pages
2. Select your desired “Base” or “Max” model
3. Select your desired “Power Cord” option
4. Select your desired “Software Support” option
5. Choose Extend product protection plan if desired
6. After making your dropdown selections you will need to change your quantity to “2”
7. Add them to your cart
8. Proceed to checkout
